any plane or help smooth out the learning curve.

Note: most of our customers are using micro gear in electric and slope planes and even in our combat 1/12 scale planes that we have assembled a custom system that will fill that need with out expensive substituting of servos and purchasing a separate micro receiver. The 555 receiver is very small ideally suited to small electric planes and the system will keep the overall weight of your combat plane down for quicker acceleration and tighter turns. The price is a savings of $20 or more over substituting and swapping the full sized gear for the micro stuff. |

NOTE: all Tetras have been discontinued, we have in stock the latest generation FMA receiver called the Magnum which is dual conversion and auto shifting to self align with all the major brands of transmitters (PPM mode only - not PCM). That's really cool - just turn on the transmitter and the receiver is ready to go regardless of the transmitter. It looks the same and is the same size as the Tetra. |
We
can supply FMA receivers, the micro receiver of choice when power and reliability
are desired. We have used this receiver in 12th scale combat, in
pocket planes, and tiny electric models and they have always performed
reliably (except after we dunked it in a mud puddle - but that's
another story). The latest are dual conversion micros. Magnum FM 6 or 8 channel: $69.95 - automatic shift Crystals - low profile dual conversion, channel 11 to 60 are available for $12.95

Flight pack batteries |

These
are our mini flight pack batteries. We use these in our Pocket planes
and combat planes as
they are very light. The 150 will give you about 1/2 to 1 hour
of safe flying before recharge. The 350 will fly a
typical 2 channel aircraft for 2 to 3 hours. It is an
excellent choice for slope soaring. I usually do a morning of combat
with a three channel plane on the 350mah with no problems. I usually
turn it off between sorties and check it with a battery tester towards
the end of the meet. Cost:
