Slickmount II still uses a 35mm film can for it's gas tank and still incorporates a clunk pickup for inverted flying. The next several pictures illustrate the different uses plus a close-up of the unit itself. We have now modified the design a little. The snap lid is modified to accept a couple different film canisters. We still recommend the Fuji film can but the other one that is similar will work also. Look on the bottom of the correct ones and you should see a small re-cycle triangle (Fuji) or a large triangle that covers the whole bottom of the can. These are the two canisters will work. We also moved the fuel pickup hole to the center of the mount for consistent 360 degree fuel pick-up. Short clunk tubes in small tanks have a hard time bending enough to pick up fuel in any position and this solves that problem.
The next two shots are of a Norvel mounted up and plumbed for muffler pressure.
To complete the closed pressure system, just cap the top filler tube after filling the tank!
