The first thing you will need to construct Foamie type planes is an assortment of tape. We have available filament tape, a set of colored packing tape (and clear) and a couple of tools that make applying the tape so much easier! Check it out!

We totally recommend these adhesives over Epoxy or spray glues for their intended use. Most of our instructions outline how to use them.

We have had to discontinue selling these adhesives. about 50% of the time Jungle Milk would cure to a rubber ball in the jar during shipping and the Gorilla glue had a short shelf life.

We still recommend polyurethane glues (Gorilla Glue) and water based adhesives for assembly. These can be purchased at most building supply stores such as Lowe's and Home Depot.

Use water based adhesives made for plastic laminate work made by Wilson Art or Formica. Both products work extremely well. If you can't find that, I have heard that latex paint will work to prime foam also

Note: 77 has had the formulation changed and is NOT compatible with Styrofoam. the new formulation is listed as 3M 78 and is foam compatible. We still have a few of the old cans as pictured but after they are gone, we will not be handling spray glue at all - instead we will carry water based contact cement - see our "Jungle Milk"

Note we do not carry 3m77 anymore. 78 is the replacement but you will have to find it in your local department or craft store. We instead use the water base products listed above for priming the foam before taping.

The colored tape comes in, from left to right: Blue, White, Red, Yellow, Green, Orange. The colors are much more brilliant than this picture can show and should help you set your Foamie apart from the competition. We also have Black and Tan

This is the new 2" tape machine in stock that is very cool and made of metal. It is much better than the little plastic ones we used to have and if you are serious about foamie construction, you shouldn't be without one.

This is a super handy little tape machine and will make taping the foam plane so much quicker and easier that you won't believe it. It is very durable and simple to use and can be refilled with standard size 2" wide packing tape. It's small enough that it can be easily taken to the flying field too.

This is a very sturdy and well made tape dispenser for filament tape. It will allow you to, single handedly, apply and stretch the tape. It also will make the job of taping much easier and quicker. You will need this at the flying field too!
